They are drawn up separately for each study programme and course on the basis of semester weighted averages.<\/li><\/ul><p>The incentive grants are available in three amounts: 6 basic social allowances (BSI):<\/p><ul><li>LDK Gediminas Scholarship<\/li><li>2,5 BSB<\/li><li>1,5 BSB<\/li><\/ul><p>The Gediminas Scholarship is awarded to students who have achieved exceptionally high academic results.<\/p><p>6 Basic Social Benefit (BSB) LDK Gediminas Scholarship, which is awarded to students from the third semester of their studies if the weighted average of the last two semesters of their studies is 10 points and the overall grades for the whole period of studies are \u2265 9.5 points.<\/p><p><strong>One-off scholarships are available for undergraduate, postgraduate and full-time students:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>those who have achieved good results in sports, art, social and other activities, promoting the name of the University<\/li><li>for participation in international and\/or national scientific conferences, seminars, Olympiads, projects, international and\/or national sports, art, social organization competitions, congresses or other events and social initiatives, representing the University.<\/li><\/ol><p>Persons applying for the one-off scholarship referred to in point 1 above must submit evidence of the University's distinguished activities by 15 November in the autumn semester and by 15 May in the spring semester.\u00a0<\/p><p>Persons applying for the one-time scholarship referred to in point 2 above must submit documents proving their participation in activities promoting the name of the University to the Dean of the University within 10 days after participation in the activities.<\/p><p>The maximum amount of the one-off scholarship is 6 BSI per semester.<\/p><p><strong>What do you need to know about allowances:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Allowances can be granted in cases of financial hardship, death of relatives, illness or other misfortune.<\/li><li>The following documents shall be submitted to the Dean in order to receive the allowance:<\/li><\/ul><ol><li>a certificate from the Social Assistance Centre (for hardship grants);<\/li><li>a copy of the sickness certificate (in the case of sickness benefit);<\/li><li>a copy of the death certificate and a copy of the document proving the relationship in the event of the death of a parent (or guardian). These documents are needed for the death of relatives allowance.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Social grants:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>it comes from the national study fund;<\/li><li>It is open to all students in higher education; undergraduate, postgraduate, post-secondary and vocational studies;<\/li><li>kiekvien\u0105 semestr\u0105 reikai pateikti nauj\u0105 pra\u0161ym\u0105.
