In what cases could the students ask for an academic leave?
- In case of sickness, upon recommendations of a doctor.
- In case of pregnancy or giving birth.
- In case you need to look after a child under 3 years old.
- In case you need the time for personal reasons.
Note: In case of personal reasons, the academic leave can be given only once during your study period and can last up to a year.
When is it worth asking for an academic leave?
After the final assignments, if the student has 2 or more academic debts, the student must repeat the course from the semester in which they had accumulated the academic debts. In this case, the student must pay for the credits of subjects they are retaking. Students who have academic debts can, one time, during the time of their studies, take an academic leave and study the subjects (modules) that they fell behind on while paying for the credits of the subjects they are repaying.
