Ką svarbu žinoti apie egzaminų sesiją?

• The final settlement is carried out by the lecturer who gave the lectures. He/she may be assisted by the lecturer of the practical sessions. 
• Only one academic group may be subject to final examination at a time, unless the number of students in the merged group is no more than 30.
• If several lecturers in a department teach the same subject/module, the head of the department must ensure that each lecturer's midterm and final assessment tasks are of the same level of difficulty and apply the same assessment criteria.
• All midterm assessments in that subject must be settled before the exam.
• In the final examinations, students do not account for the theoretical part of the course that was accounted for in the mid-term examinations.
• Students must be made aware of the assessment criteria before the assessment.
• Tarpai tarp galutinių atsiskaitymų turi būti ne mažesni kaip dvi kalendorinės dienos (nuolatinėse studijose) ir ne mažesni kaip viena kalendorinė dienai (ištestinėse studijose).
• Each final exam must be preceded by a tutor consultation.
• The final grade should appear in mano.vilniustech.lt within two working days.
• The final examination assignments are completed by the students in writing or on a computer in the case of assignments submitted electronically. The practice report (A), the course project (CP), the complex project (KS), the research project (TD) and the first parts of the final thesis/project (BD) are defended orally. Otherwise, the examinations may be organised only with the permission of the Dean of the Faculty.
• Students must bring a valid student ID card or identity document to the final examination, the tools provided by the teacher and be prepared to work for up to 2.5 hours continuously.
• After the final examination, the lecturer may revise the student's performance in a follow-up interview in order to change the student's final examination grade, within a maximum of five working days to correct the final examination grades.
• The student has the right to discuss his/her work with the professor, but the work is not corrected during the discussion.

Jei nepavyko iš pirmo karto:

• The student has the opportunity to retake the assessment 2 times: vieną kartą nemokamai bei dar vieną kartą komisijoje, susimokėjęs nustatytą 35 eurų mokestį.
• Students who have not reached the threshold level of achievement at the end of the examination session may re-submit their final re-submissions within the timeframe stipulated in the VILNIUS TECH timetable of studies.
• Dates for free re-examination can be found on mano.vilniustech.lt. Of the 2 dates given choose one and register no later than one working day before until the date of the final re-examination.
• The final examination by the Board shall be organised at the time specified in the study timetable. Before the final examination, you need to būtina pateikti prašymą dekanui ir sumokėti Senato nustatytą kainą.

Nepasilik skolų:

• If a student fails the exam at the third sitting of the board, he/she receives an academic debt.
• A student with at least one academic debt at the end of the assessment period (1 September to 31 August) will forfeit the funded place.
• If there are more than 2 debts, the student must repeat the course in the semester in which the debts are incurred. Also, he/she loses his/her state-funded place.
• In exceptional cases, an additional final examination may be organised if the threshold level of achievement has not been reached in the board examination and with the permission of the Vice-Rector of Studies or Rector.
